The United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, is currently accepting applications for a full-time Network Engineer. The Network Engineer conducts and oversees the court unit's information technology networks and systems. The incumbent performs routine network administration as well as more complex network administration duties, including developing standards, recommending network infrastructure changes, and coordinating and implementing network security measures. The Network Engineer is responsible for high level and long-term design and analysis of the court's network systems. In addition, the incumbent will establish, support and maintain the court's virtual server environments. The position is located in the Clerk's Office of the U.S. District Court in Philadelphia. Occasional travel within the district may be required.
