WHAT DOES AN IT SPECIALIST DO? As an IT Specialist (Applications Software), you will apply standard IT procedures and basic concepts, principles, methods and practices to perform highly structured work assignments requiring a combination of applied learning and gained experience. You will communicate factual and procedural information clearly, orally and in writing, and gather and analyze basic facts and work in any of the following IT specialty areas: Applications Software, Data Management, or Internet Development.
