Civilian employees serve a vital role in supporting the Army mission. They provide the skills that are not readily available in the military, but crucial to support military operations. The Army integrates the talents and skills of its military and civilian members to form a Total Army.
Incumbent: Serves as project coordinator with full responsibility through a multidisciplinary team for the contract administration and surveillance and control of assigned construction projects involving military and civil construction activities. Exercises professional knowledge of engineering concepts, principles, and practices applicable to the full range of engineering duties concerned with construction standards and the Corps of Engineers criteria and policies. Work involves military construction contracts with a variety of structures and facilities as well as miscellaneous Civil Works and/or Hazardous, Toxic, Radioactive Waste (HTRW)contracts.
Management may select from any grade, positions have non-competitive promotion to target grade of GS 12
