The position is located in the Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of the Secretary (OST), Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Office of the Chief Information Security Officer and reports to the Deputy Chief Information Security Officer.
The Office of the Chief Information Security Officer provides support to leadership and subject matter experts for Cybersecurity Operations and Information Assurance policy, and Oversight and Compliance and activities relating primarily to the department’s implementation of the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and Department of Homeland Security Cybersecurity priorities.
You will perform a variety of duties in Information Technology, Information Systems, or Information Assurance in the position as Information Technology Specialist within the Departmental Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), provide support to Information Technology Specialists designated to address Information Technology Security within the departmental investments, as they relate to DOT Information and Information Systems confidentially, availability and integrity.
