As a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST, GS-0343-14, your typical work assignments may include the following under supervision:
Qualifications within 30 Days: You must meet all qualification requirements within 30 days after the closing date of the announcement. Please note that qualification claims will be subject to verification.
Time-In-Grade: Applicants in the Competitive Service who have held a permanent GS position within the past 52 weeks must meet Time-In-Grade (52 weeks at the next lower grade level). For example, one year at the GS-13 for the GS-14.
Conditions of Employment:
You may qualify at the GS-14 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to perform a full complement of budgetary functions and duties associated with all phases of the budget process (e.g.,formulation, justification, presentation, and execution); providing guidance to Agency employees and managers on financial activities (e.g., procurement, credit cards, contracts, coding, and travel); providing guidance on human resources related activities (e.g., personnel actions, awards, time and attendance); and leading a group or team of employees in administrative support tasks.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
You will be evaluated for this job based on how well you meet the qualifications above.
