The National Park Service is seeking a dynamic and highly energetic individual to serve as a Procurement Technician in the Northeast Regional Office Financial Assistance and Agreements Division to perform duties such as preparing and maintaining electronic and hardcopy financial assistance files, advising interested parties of status of proposals after award, and monitoring banking data and draw-downs while keeping Awarding Officers and customers apprised of activity.
This is a Career/Career-Conditional Full-Time appointment.
Travel, transportation, and relocation expenses will not be paid. All travel, transportation, and relocation expenses associated with reporting for duty in this position will be the sole responsibility of the selected employee.

As a Procurement Technician, you will:
Provide technical assistance related to financial assistance and agreements to program managers and customers.
Issue pre-solicitation guidance and notices to customers, keep electronic financial assistance database up to date, and prepare change orders and modifications to cooperative agreements.
Work with budget staff in the identification of appropriate accounting classification.
Review and manage electronic financial assistance payment documents, perform quality control reviews of final hard and e-files to ensure they meet audit-requirement standards and maintain a web presence of the financial assistance program.
Ensure all data and information are up to date and in sync with Departmental standards, assist with close-out process, recommend liquidation of any balances, and ensure final reports and documentation are completed and submitted.
