MILITARY SPOUSE EMPLOYMENT PREFERENCE (SEP):
Refusal of a military spouse to participate in established recruitment procedures for a Regular Part-Time position (for example, interview, tentative/official job offer, and so forth) is considered a declination of employment and is a basis for termination of (Spouse Employment Preference) SEP entitlement for the current PCS of the sponsor.
Location: This position is located at the Middle School/Teen Center (this vacancy will be used to fill multiple positions within the Fort Meade Child and Youth Service Division).
Work Schedule: Applicants must be able to work evenings (Mon-Fri) and weekends. Schedule includes irregular hours, evenings, and/or weekends. Though this position is being advertised for the Middle School Teen Program, it is possible that other positions within Child and Youth Services may be filled from this announcement as they become available. Work schedules may vary depending on the facility where the applicant is assigned.
Physical Requirement: Must be able to lift up to forty (40) pounds to assist in the safety of children during emergencies or drills.
Mandatory training for this position and annual government trainings are required.
