The Real Property Services Field Office (RSFO) is located in the National Business Park located just outside of Ft. George G. Meade, MD. There are numerous amenities, including local eating establishments, within driving distance. The RSFO is approximately 20 miles from downtown Baltimore and 30 miles from Washington, DC. There is no public transportation to the National Business Park. Free parking garages are available in the National Business Park.
About the Position: You will serve as a Real Property Services Field Office (RSFO) consultant and expert advisor in estimating electrical costs and project design reviews, including biddability, constructability, operability, environmental and sustainability (BCOES) and technical reviews, and resolving novel, extremely technical state-of-the-art, unusual and controversial electrical engineering matters. Yuo will develop innovative approaches to highly complex, one-of-a-kind quality assurances matters, and settles conflicts of highly complex construction programs. You will provide costs and technical subject matter via automated cost estimate systems support to RSFO projects involving multiple, multi-million dollar construction and renovation projects, and to millions of dollars' worth of new buildings in individual need of electrical utilities stations and hook-ups. Your projects involve design and construction of communications and electronic evaluation for mission critical facilities, state-of-the-art energy monitoring and control systems for Army Installations, uninterruptible power supply and intrusion detection systems, tempest or RF shielding systems, highly specialized communications facilities, protective design projects, complex rehabilitation projects, and high altitude electromagnetic pulse (HEMP) protected facilities.
