This is a staff position located in the Claims Adjudication and Reimbursement (CAR) Directorate of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration (VHA), VHA Office of Community Care (VAOCC). The analyst serves as a Health Systems Expert and data analyst, and is organizationally aligned under the Senior Operations Specialist (SOS) within the Office of the Director. Analyst is responsible for monitoring the multitude of processes, programs, and projects under the cognizance of the SOS to ensure health programs are administered efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with appropriate regulations and laws. The analyst is in a management level position and serves as a member of the staff, which is responsible for the oversight, and development of efficient, and quality programs for Veterans Affairs beneficiaries.
