The Medical Technologist will evaluate the suitability of specimen for analysis; selects, performs, evaluates and monitors the performance of test procedures. Conducts and documents quality control procedures, calibrates and maintain instruments, and participates in quality and performance improvement activities.Serve as a Medical Technologist Generalist in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service performing routine and stat testing procedures on blood, urine, and other body fluids. Technical disciplines include: Clinical Chemistry, Immunology, Microbiology, Hematology, Coagulation and Urinalysis.
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday (2300-0700) with Holiday rotations. Work hours may vary depending on service needs.

The selectee may be required to work or travel between any of the locations within Corporate Orlando, including the new Lake Nona campus. The selectee may also be required to work various shifts on a permanent or temporary basis, based on patient care needs.

4. Ability to plan, organize, set priorities, work as a team member and effectively complete assignments.
5. Ability to use independent technical judgment to analyze and interpret laboratory results.
6. Ability to read, interpret and apply complex written instructions.
7. Skilled in informatics, laboratory data flow and the understanding of laboratory processes.
8. Ability to communicate, consult and interact with other members of the healthcare team, external relations, customer service and patient education.
