About the Position
The purpose of this position is to perform a variety of budgetary, administrative and statistical functions to support budget formulation, execution, and analysis of assigned portions of the appropriated fund budget for personnel service contracts, GSA, travel, contract leases and supplemental medical care for the MEDDAC/DENTAC.

This position is located in Southwest Oklahoma and historic Fort Sill. Lawton/Fort Sill is surrounded by a national treasure, the Wichita Wildlife Refuge. There are thousands of acres for hiking and open ranges for buffalo, elk, longhorn and other wildlife. Lawton/Fort Sill is just 50 minutes from Oklahoma City and about three hours from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Lawton provides excellent dinning and shopping opportunities with a small town atmosphere.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade (GS-05) or equivalent level which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as experience using the installation accounting systems to update accounting data, accounting ledgers and financial statements; experience in locating and analyzing data pertaining to budget programs; experience interpreting an annual operating budget to include properly allocating, obligating and monitoring funds. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).
