You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist in the Staffing Department of the Office of Civilian Human Resources (OCHR) Silverdale Operations Center.

THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE ANNOUNCEMENT. Section 1106 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2017 authorizes the Secretary of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified Post-Secondary Students and Recent Graduates directly to positions in the competitive service for Professional and Administrative occupations within the Department of Defense (DoD). Competitive rating and ranking of applicants do not apply to the Direct Hire process.
Salary based on location:
Silverdale, Washington: $ 44,857 - $ 58,313
Pearl Harbor, Hawaii: $ 42,462 - $ 55,199 (plus a Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 10.99% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time)
