This position is located in the the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA), Office of Regulatory Science (ORS), Safety and Risk Management Staff Office, located in Detroit, MI.
The incumbent serves as an expert in Industrial Hygiene and Occupational Safety and Health for ORA and advises on, administers, manages, and performs professional and scientific work in industrial hygiene. This includes the identification and evaluation of conditions affecting the safety and health of ORA employees, the formulation and recommendation of measures to eliminate or control occupational hazards, and the promotion of occupational safety and health programs.
