The incumbent is responsible for performing the full range of environmental sanitation duties in critical care areas using a variety of cleaning techniques, supplies and equipment. Primary duties consist of cleaning and disinfecting floors, walls, ceiling, and beds in critical care areas, using very stringent cleaning techniques conforming to the increased sanitation and infection control requirements in critical care areas. The incumbent uses a wide variety of chemical solutions and floor care products, all of which must be handled in accordance with their accompanying safety data sheets.
Work Schedule: May be assigned to work various schedules which may include days, evenings, nights and may include occasional or regularly scheduled weekends or holidays
