The Neuro Psychologist Program Manager has broad responsibility for all Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology Services at CAVHS, a large and complex medical facility within the Department of Veterans Affairs. The incumbent provides supervisory and administrative oversight for the Outpatient Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Inpatient Neuropsychology, Geriatric Neuropsychology, and Geropsychology programs and services provided in the Mental Health Service at CAVHS, Little Rock and North Little Rock facilities and satellite CBOC's. This includes direct supervision and oversight of several interdisciplinary programs and clinics.
The Program Manager for Neuropsychology and Rehabilitation Psychology Services works at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, (CAVHS), in the Mental Health Service at Little Rock, AR. The incumbent ensures the efficient operation of the organizational units which comprise Neuropsychology, Rehabilitation, and Inpatient Geropsychology and is directly responsible for the overall efficiency of this organizational area. The organizational area includes clinics in: Outpatient Neuropsychology, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Community Living Center (Inpatient Gero), and Memory Disorders Clinic. The incumbent assures staff training, cross-training clinic assignments, and all job responsibilities for supervised positions. The incumbent is responsible for administrative and clinical supervision of all employees in this service to include performance appraisals, hiring and recruitment efforts. The Program Manager is responsible for developing, managing and allocating resources within the program area and is substantially involved in educational programming to include pre-doctoral internship, pre-doctoral internship (neuropsychology focus), and post-doctoral neuropsychology fellowship training. The incumbent will report directly to the Chief of Vocational Rehabilitation and Neurocognitive Services.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Alternate schedules may be considered)
