Serves as the Assistant to the Chief, Sports, Fitness & Aquatics responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the Aquatics Department.
Assists in the development, coordination and assessment of comprehensive aquatics and recreation programs in support of military, family, civilian, and employee personnel.
Assists in coordinating and administering aquatic training/ recertification curriculum to include lifeguarding, lifeguard instructor, and other safety and recreational training.
Assists with the arrangement of equipment, supplies and services needed to accomplish assigned functions, under the direction of the Chief, Sports, Fitness & Aquatics.
Makes recommendations to repair/improve, purchase needed materials, equipment and supplies. Assists with new employee required orientation, training/on-the-job training in order to meet all department needs.
