Counsels and advises management officials relating to Conduct and Discipline issues. Responsible for developing documentation/evidence necessary in the disciplinary process. Develops proposed disciplinary letters after evaluating evidence and provides rationale regarding penalty determination. Reviews responses and consults with LOB management to determine appropriate corrective action. Develops decision letters providing appropriate grievance and appeal rights. Researches pertinent disciplinary cases in order to ensure the action complies with case law. Advises management officials in the disciplinary process of what additional evidence/documentation may be needed to ensure all facts are obtained. Researches case law on a variety of Labor Relations subjects provided by the manager. Responds to ULPs and grievances which are filed by NATCA and PASS unions. Develops position papers on new, complex issues which have been assigned by the manager. Responds to requests for information.

Applicants must have 52 weeks (1 year) of specialized experience at the next lower band or grade level. Specialized experience is defined as experience directly related to the position being filled. Specialized experience must be equivalent to an FV-G or FG-11. Specialized experience may include but is not limited to: Apply experience and adverse knowledge applicable to the Conduct and Discipline program to plan and accomplish assignments, conduct case research, apply conduct and discipline policies and procedures.
