This is a Direct Hire Open Continuous Announcement (OCA) for a Advance Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner) for the Indian Health Service within the Southwest Region. The Southwest Region provides health care and community health services through a network of health care facilities in the tri-state area of Arizona, California, Nevada and Utah. Arizona locations include the Colorado River Service Unit, which encompasses the Parker Indian Hospital (Parker, Arizona); the Peach Spring Clinic (Peach Springs, Arizona), the Hopi Health Care Center, (Polacca, Arizona). California location is Fort Yuma Health Care Center (Winterhaven, California). Nevada locations are Elko Service Unit (Elko, Nevada) and McDermitt Clinic (McDermitt, Nevada). Utah location is Uintah & Ouray Service Unit (Fort Duchesne, Utah).

Federal Employees earn annual leave at a rate (4, 6, or 8 hours per pay period) which is based on the number of years they have served as a Federal employee.
