JOB SUMMARY: The Chaplain has full responsibility for providing a complete religious ministry to Protestant Veteran patients. The chaplain assesses religious, spiritual, moral, and ethical problems of patients. With these information, the chaplain plan and provide appropriate spiritual comfort and validation. The Chaplain can provide extensive and intensive pastoral counseling of individual Veteran patient's if needed. The chaplain also provides spiritual counsel and pastoral support to Veteran patient's family to alleviate their anxieties and fears.

The Chaplain will develop and conduct a well-rounded program of religious ministry for Veteran patients and family members which are fully integrated into the overall treatment program of the medical center. Veteran patients serve include: the newly admitted, pre- and post-operative, the critically ill, the terminally ill, homeless, nursing home, substance abuse, spinal cord injured, ambulatory care, and psychiatric to include families concerned. Duties include:

5. College transcript(s). Copies are acceptable. Transcripts must indicate the degree awarded, if any, and the date awarded or conferred. A copy of the certificate or diploma must be submitted, if no completion date is indicated on the transcript. Transcripts must show the name of the institution. If you have a Master of Divinity Degree you do not need to submit undergraduate transcripts.
