About the Position:
As a Test Administrator, you will administer Tests to individuals wishing to enter the military. This position is assigned to the Denver Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS).
Positions may be filled at the following areas: Denver, Colorado and Grand Junction, Colorado. We expect to fill multiple vacancies from this announcement. Pay will be set in accordance to the applicable locality rate for the duty location and by using local pay setting policies.
This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed" basis. This position will not lead to a full-time position, and you will be paid only for the hours worked.
· Personally owned vehicles must be used to travel to the testing sites.
· Travel reimbursement within the commuting area is authorized for mileage using privately owned vehicle to and from testing sites.

As an Intermittent Test Administrator, you will administer the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) to determine individual qualifications for enlistment into military service and to support the Career Exploration Program at area high schools and other educational institutes.
· Following established administrative practices and guidelines, you will instruct applicants on testing procedures and distribute, collect and maintain accountability of all materials while administering paper and computer based exams.
· Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all forms are properly completed and make corrections if needed.
· Prepare applicant packages and mail documents to the appropriate office for action.
· Responsible for the overall safety and security of the testing materials to ensure proper safeguarding, storage, and use in accordance with established regulations.
· This position may require long hours and extended periods of standing, walking and sitting.
· This position does not provide guaranteed work hours each week, and work will be assigned on an intermittent "as needed" basis only.
· Some work may be performed from your residence prior to arriving at the test site.
Other Requirements:
Substitute of Education: To qualify based on education you MUST have successfully completed two years of education above high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
OR
Combination of Experience and Education: To qualify based on partial experience and partial education you must have some of the general experience as described above, but less than one year; and have at least some education above the high school level, but less than two years. To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education by 60. Add the two percentages. The total percentage must equal at least 100 percent to qualify. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)
Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
