The Assistant Deputy Chief of Staff, G-3/4 for Logistics Integration is responsible for planning for, directing, integrating and coordinating the execution of all functions, operations and activities involved in the accomplishment of the assigned mission area of Logistics Integration. These mission areas include the following: depot/arsenal management, maintenance management, sustaining, materiel management, supply chain management, ammunition logistics, chemical and biological defensive equipment, transportation, and munitions program and management of the sustaining industrial base. Provides broad overall program guidance to subordinates and to subordinate Army Materiel Command activities. Integrates the collective efforts by the review and interpretation of DoD, HQDA and AMC plans and doctrines. Formulates and disseminates guidance and provides executive and managerial direction, coordination, review and analysis. Provides leadership in establishing management processes and an environment conducive to effective utilization of Logistics Integration personnel, subordinate activities and financial resources. Responsible for a budget of approximately $10 Billion. Serves under the general direction of and receives broad strategic guidance from the AMC CG, DCG, EDCG and the Principal Deputy, G-3/4 for Operations and Logistics. Oversees a HQAMC workforce of 182 combined military and civilians; directly supervises 6 personnel at the GS-14/15 levels.
