These positions are located at the Area III USAG Humphreys, Child and Youth and School Services, Parent and Outreach Services, Kids on Site (KOS) program.
Kids on Site (KOS) offers short term hourly child care for ages 6 weeks to 12 years in a variety of on and off post settings. Applicants interested in working for Kids on Site MUST be available for scheduling: Afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Area III USAG Humphreys is located in the Pyongtaek metropolitan areas in the Republic of Korea. USAG-Humphreys is an hour and a half drive south of Seoul, 40 minutes south of Osan Air Base, and 15 minutes from the city of Pyongtaek. USAG Humphreys is not far from night life, restaurants, and shopping. The Humphreys Exchange and Commissary, Food court and restaurants offer typical American amenities. Many US employees generally choose to live in town right outside the gate, in the City of Pyongtaek, or in the area surrounding Osan Air Base.
This announcement will have weekly cut-offs every Monday. All eligible applicants from previous week will be referred to the hiring manager on the Tuesday after the cut-off day.

This is a developmental assignment with mandatory placement from Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA)(Entry Level 2), PD#19889 to Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA)(Skill Level 3), PD#19890 to Child and Youth Program Assistant (CYPA)(Target Level 4), PD#19891, upon completion of the prescribed training and qualification requirements.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Serving as a Child Youth and Program Assistant (CYPA) in one or more Child and Youth (CY) programs.
- Maintaining control of and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to fifth grade.
- Helping with preparing, arranging, and maintaining indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate daily schedules.
- Supervising children and youth during daily schedule of indoor and outdoor activities and on field trips, outings, and special events.
