A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 11.32% will be added to the stated salary. COLA is subject to change at any time.

This position is a full-time term appointment not to exceed 13 months. Term appointments may be extended up to 6 years at the discretion of management and in accordance with applicable regulations. The successful selectee will perform the following duties:
Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position is considered Emergency/Non-Combat Essential. The incumbent must provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations. The incumbent must maintain certain levels of medical, security, performance, conduct and overall fitness that make them suitable for assignment.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. Must be willing and able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Frequent TAD is required.
The employee performs moderately strenuous work involving som physical exertion, such as standing for long periods, bending, and stooping to observe and study work operations in field, industrial, storage, or comparable work areas.
The employee regularly exposed to hazards, unpleasantness, and discomfort, such as moving machine parts, shielded radiation sources, irritant chemicals, acid fumes, high levels of noise in industrial settings, high temperature in confined spaces, or adverse weather conditions. May be required to use protective gear such as masks, airline respirators, goggles, gloves, and shields.
For those applicants located outside of the commuting area, a service agreement may be negotiated in accordance with the Joint Travel Regulation and applicable Department of the Navy policies.
