This position is located at the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security (DPTMS), Flight Simulation, Fort Campbell, KY. Fort Campbell lies on the Kentucky/Tennessee border between Hopkinsville, KY & Clarksville, TN about 45 miles NW of Nashville. Clarksville is ranked as the 57th Best Place to Live by Money Magazine, 11th Best City in the U.S. for Public Golf by Golf Digest, and is the state's fifth largest city with a revitalized & thriving riverfront district. Both visitors & residents enjoy the shops & eateries of downtown Clarksville. The cost of living is lower than the average for all major U.S. cities

Education: Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled, such as, Education or Aeronautical Science.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
Only degrees from an accredited college or university recognized by the Department of Education are acceptable to meet positive education requirements or to substitute education for experience.
