About the Position:
This position is located at the US Army Medical Activity, Department of Primary Care, Irwin Medical Home, Fort Riley, Kansas.
The new IACH, $347M facility opened October 2016. Now a 47-bed facility, IACH is working to expand services with a total of 6 OR's and 2 Endoscopy Rooms. Additionally, IACH will add Sleep Lab services in the near future and an in-patient behavioral health unit. With over 900 babies delivered a year, our Women's Health is proud to be a high-5 for mom and baby.

As a Social Worker (Clinical), you will:
Screen and interview patients, and perform bio-psychosocial evaluations.
Provide targeted assessment and evaluation, including diagnostic impressions and functional status focused on the presenting problem.
Formulate behavioral health interventions appropriate to a primary care setting.
Provide focused follow ups, including relapse prevention education.
Triage and referral of patients to Specialty Behavioral Health Care when appropriate.
