This position is located in the Central Command (CENTCOM) Regional Operations, Central Case Management Division, U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, New Cumberland, PA.
This is a TERM Not to Exceed 13 months position. Term appointments may be extended up to a total of 6 years. Contingent to specific conditions there may be an opportunity to be noncompetitively converted to a career-conditional or career appointment.

Serves as the Central Case Manager for assigned country/cases with responsibility for total case management from case implementation through case closure. Responsible for all aspects of the letter of offer and acceptance (LOA). Responsible for the execution of assigned International Program
cases. Serves as a technical authority and troubleshooter who analyzes, controls, records and reports all logistical, financial, and operational actions involving problems revealed. Works closely with other country team personnel, comparing actual performance of specific programs and LOA against planned performance. Participates in management reviews for designated countries and makes recommended actions based upon individual country needs. Maintains surveillance over and ensures that logistical and financial data maintained in the multi-command Security Assistance related data bases accurately reflect actual case execution. Visits country, embassy and/or consulate to provide assistance and or resolve problems.

Ph.D. OR equivalent doctoral degree OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.M., if related.
