The Educational Aide assists teachers and other professional educators in instructional programs and classroom learning and activities to include monitoring students during lunch. May be assigned to work in classroom, media center, health clinic or school office.
This is a part time seasonal permanent position in the Excepted Service.

Applicants must possess: one year general experience that has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position.
General Experience is defined as progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates the ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled; OR Education- completed two full years of education above the high school level (60 semester hours); OR A combination of post-high school education and general experience that meets 100% of the qualifications.
Post high-school level education must have been obtained in a business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university that has been accredited by an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. One year of full-time academic study is defined as 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or the equivalent in a college or university, or at least 20 hours of classroom instruction per week for approximately 36 weeks in a business, secretarial, or technical school.
Part-Time or Unpaid Experience: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
