The incumbent will serve as an IT Specialist (Customer Service) and will perform, but not limited to, the following major duties:
Imaging software, troubleshooting software and hardware issues and resolving trouble tickets.
Analyzing hardware/software issues and providing comprehensive end user support.
Performs trend analysis while working with the IT trouble ticketing system.
Installs anti-virus programs, vulnerability scanning, intrusion detection, and prevention.
Establishes microcomputer hardware and software configurations.
Provides server and device management customer support.
Defines IT equipment requirements for handling IT solutions.
Provides training for users on new equipment and software.
Consults with customers regarding potential system or program upgrades.
Works with desktop, laptop, and mobile device operating systems to include Microsoft, iOs, Android, and Windows Phone.
Works with remote access and telework systems.
Works with patch management solutions that are applicable to personal computing devices and mobile device management software.
Documents process and procedures pertaining to IT issues.
