About the Position:
You will serve as a Government Information Specialist in the US Army Records Management and Declassification Agency (RMDA) Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Office located in Alexandria, VA. Actions to implement the FOIA and Privacy Act (PA) include policy development, administration and conduct of the Army wide FOIA and PA programs which are accomplished in concert with Department of Defense policy. Responsible for policy development, promulgation and implementation of the FOIA and PA programs Army wide. Determines the requirements and develops and implements plans, actions, systems, procedures, guidelines, training requirements and other processes necessary to provide for the efficient and economical administrative management and operation of the FOIA and PA programs.
