Serves as the Government Purchase Card (GPC) Level IV Agency/Organization Program Coordinator (A/OPC) with responsibility for coordinating and reviewing contracting policies and procedures. Provides advice and guidance on the GPC Program. Provides assistance in managing the day-to-day program operations, implementation and administration. Functions as the technical expert to provide guidance to Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) Programs and activities on assigned installations.
Performs duties as the primary liaison between the servicing bank and finance/accounting to resolve issues. Prepares GPC status reports and briefings; identifies unfavorable trends based on analysis and implements corrective and preventive measures to improve performance and accountability. Conducts surveillance reviews and provides training for cardholders and approving officials. Coordinates usage of the GPC Card as a payment vehicle on contracts and purchase orders.
