As a Security Specialist you will be responsible for the following duties:
Reviewing investigative records and any other available/applicable records to determine if persons employed or to be employed meet, or continue to meet, security standardsReviewing, evaluating, and making security determinations involving minor derogatory informationDetermining the adequacy and completeness of the investigationsManaging and maintaining all Personnel Security systems to include, but not limited to, Central Adjudication Tracking System (CATS) and the Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)Advising management regarding the impact of denial or revocation of clearances on respective activitiesUtilizing secure electronic and digital capabilities, to the extent possible, to obtain, transmit and manage biometric date for the DoDEA workforceAdvise and assist in the collection and interpretation of insider threat information to determine if it meets the criteria for reporting to the Insider Threat Program Manager
