DUTIES:
Must meet OPM minimum qualification standards to be considered for this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
For the GS-06 level: 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-05, is required.
Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must posses one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-05). Specialized experience is defined as: experience in performing and coordinating a variety of clerical and administrative work for an office; experience in using various office automation tools, (including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), and coordinating conferences, preparing reports, and responding to inquiries.
Typing Proficiency Requirements: In addition to meeting the experience and/or education requirements, applicants must include a certificate of proficiency or self-certify that they can type at least 40 words per minute. Your resume must support your self-certification of your typing ability. Otherwise you may not meet the minimum qualifications requirements for this position.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
