Duties will be performed in a developmental capacity under close supervision at the GS-7 level. Incumbent works under closer supervision and works in a developmental capacity performing assignments and completing training, both of which are aimed in preparing the incumbent to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties outlined in the aforementioned job description. The incumbent receives progressively more responsible assignments as experience and training are received to the next higher level position. Duties described below reflect the full performance GS-09 level.

Experience required:

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes assisting with a variety of administrative and budget support services to include preparation of briefing charts/material and financial documents; utilizing financial management system(s) to create work items and resource plans; establishing and clarifying all labor authorizations; and preparing travel orders and vouchers and serving as primary timekeeper regarding proper documentation and account management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).

Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
