The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) of the Department of Homeland Security is seeking a limited number of applicants for temporary, full time jobs in Atlanta, Georgia and surrounding counties. All candidates should possess strong computer, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Eighteen years of age and US Citizenship required. The incumbent reports to the Public Assistance (PA) Site Inspector Crew Lead and is to conduct site inspections to support the objective of capturing the Applicant's claimed disaster-related damages. In accordance with the PA grant delivery process a Site Inspector's contribution is in Phase II, Intake Damage and Eligibility Analysis. Site Inspectors support Phase II by conducting Damage Description and Dimensions (DDD) based on photographs, site sketches/drawings, and damage assessed during the site inspection. The SI is to capture an Applicant's claimed damages for all categories of work that is ultimately reviewed and approved by the Program Delivery Manager. Complete Site Inspection Report(SIR) and scan all supporting documentation into the CRM Tool. Develops FIRMette for damaged site. Reports progress of activities to immediate supervisor.
