Serves as the Family Child Care (FCC) Program Specialist and recognized Subject Matter Expert within the Programs Branch of IMCOM G9, Child and Youth Services. Provides oversight for the operation of FCC programs Army-wide.
Ensures FCC Programs conform to all applicable DoD and Army policy, IMCOM G9 standards, laws, and with the most current applicable industry standards.
Oversees and monitors implementation of policies, plans, standards, and procedures for FCC programs and provides operational guidance to Army Garrisons.
Develops and revises operational guidance to assist professional staff in carrying out their assigned duties in areas such as: Budget, FCC Home management, child accountability, ratio management, provider observations, training, and customer service.
Analyzes FCC program and inspection data to identify trends and strategies for program improvement. Provides technical assistance through workshops, process action teams, on-site visits, web-based and classroom training, and inspections.
Maintains up-to-date statistical data for planning and reporting purposes.
