Plans, directs and controls all personnel aspects of the Personnel Reliability Program. Independently manages a variety of duties as the Personnel Reliability Program (PRP) Manager. Determines the necessary steps to perform the full range of administrative functions associated with properly maintaining PRP records for military and civilian positions. Monitors, coordinates, and disseminates PRP information and provides PRP guidance to the wing staff agencies and unit commanders and their supporting staff on policy and/or procedural issues. Monitors and coordinates with unit/wing security manager(s) to ensure PRP Personnel Security Investigation requests are submitted in a timely and accurate manner and follows up for adjudication. Performs administrative office management of support functions and maintains cooperative working relationships with the organizational PRP technicians. Ensures unit PRP-assigned personnel are properly trained and briefed and their records are coded. Ensures any changes in PRP positions are properly coded in MilPDS and members and leadership are notified. Conducts staff assistance visits and unit personnel record audits for all units to verify data accuracy as required. Provides training for certifying officials, unit monitors, military personnel section and commander's support staff. Administers and monitors elements of unit assigned personnel programs. Receives and reviews data pertinent to any element. Formulates analyses of data, makes observations/recommendations to supervisor and managers when actions may affect productivity or mission. Uses multiple office automation software capabilities, in support of wing PRP efforts, to produce a wide range of documents that often require complex formats, such as graphics or tables with text editing and reformatting electronic drafts and updating or revising existing databases or spreadsheets. Tracks wing PRP personnel statistics to include tasked organization, individual status, certification/decertification, etc. Initiates and administers various types of PRP studies. Analyzes data for PRP program statistics and assists in preparing program reports submitted to higher echelons. Prepares and delivers oral presentations such as briefings, training sessions, consultations, and strategy sessions to resolve controversial matters. Develops and prepares a variety of correspondence and other documentation, i.e., formal letters, reports, briefings. Responsible for currency of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), Continuous Evaluation (CE) Plan for the 131 BW, appointment and delegation letters. Performs other duties as assigned.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or termination.
