A Management Analyst, GS-09-0343 analyzes maintenance capabilities, production effectiveness, equipment reliability, areas of deficiency, and trends of various small maintenance shops. Reviews, extracts, analyzes, and collates maintenance data and prepare maintenance summaries from reports submitted by subordinate maintenance activities. Provides assistance in reviewing and validating Unit Movement Plans (UMP) and Unit Movement Data (UMD) prior to submission to FORSCOM. Coordinates with the various State DOT to determine highway availability, restrictions, and permit requirements. Reviews records on the location and type of military, state, and federal transportation assets within the State. Assists the DMC in the day-to-day management of the GSA vehicle fleet as well as assigned TMP assets. Develops, implements and evaluates the logistics and property accountability policies for the organization. Maintains property book accountability utilizing an automated system and/or related computer program to account for property. Ensures compliance with the CSDP and other directed command inspection programs. Coordinates with the USPFO, state level JFHQ and subordinate units of the organization on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property. Establishes quality procedures and oversees the edit of all source documentation. Provide guidance and funds management for all decentralized logistics funds. Performs other duties as assigned.
