As a Supervisory Police Officer, GS-0083-08, you will exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities.Represent the Security Forces Flight with a variety of functional area organizations.Perform and enforces the full range of police officer duties within the military facility.Incumbent has full powers of apprehension and detention which entails carrying a firearm, operating Security Forces vehicles and equipment, mirandizing suspects, preserving evidence and testifying in court as it pertains to enforcing regulations on a military installation. Performs other duties as assigned.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership.
