Provide expert technical knowledge to support managerial tasks and critical programmatic responsibilities which include, but are not limited to: perform front line supervisory duties for the security specialists assigned to the division; review and amend current enforcement regulations, standards, policy and guidance, and make recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of FAA’s Law Enforcement Assistance Program (LEAP), as well as the DUI/DWI program; draft new enforcement regulations, standards, policy and guidance as necessary; perform quality review of current LEAP and DUI/DWI agent(s) activities to ensure compliance with regulations, standards, policy, and guidance; review current LEAP and DUI/DWI agent training and make recommendations for improvements; serve as the principle LEAP agent to the National Capital Region (NCR) in response to unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and laser events; liaise with interagency/intra-agency, industry and foreign partner engagement on security matters associated with LEAP, UAS, Counter-UAS (C-UAS) and laser activities.
