-Team leader for the Exploration Subteam and formulates and recommends geology investigation programs for the Bureau's water resource management facilities and civil engineering structures.
-Prepares technical documentation, correspondence, and specifications paragraphs and drawings for complex design and construction, and site characterization activities.
-Interprets and analyzes remote sensing, photographs, and geologic data and reports from field offices, consultants, and other team members and reviews. -Meets schedules, deadlines, and goals on assigned projects as depicted by the Technical Service Center (TSC) and Group schedules or on assignments provided by the Team Leader or Geology Manager.
-Serves in an advisory capacity for investigations, studies, or construction activities involving design and construction problems where geology is critcal to the solution.
-Provides direct operating skills for the operation of geologic and administrative computer programs.
