HIGHLY PERFERED CRITERIA will be referral first. The first referral list will be submitted to management on 14th September.
1. 18 months experience working in a group program with children.
2. Army military service Foundation Level Training (evidence by service issued Certification of Completion.
OR
3. Associate Degree in a related field
4. 60 semester hours of college credit whiich included a major course of study (24 semester hours with content directly related to course study.
OR
5. A bachelor's degree or at least 120 semester hours which included a major course of study (24 semester hours).
6.. Possess and maintain one of the following directly related to the age group of the position to which assigned: Child Development Associate (CDA).

Serves as a CYPA in one or more CY programs. Maintains control of and accounts for whereabouts and safety of children and youth. Plans, coordinates, and conducts activities for program participants based on observed needs of individual children and youth ranging in age from 6 weeks to 18 years. Implements activities and special events that meet the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs of children and youth. Establishes a program environment that sustains participant interest and promotes positive interactions with other children, youth, and adults. Helps prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor and outdoor activity areas and materials to accommodate daily schedules. Prepares and implements program options for children and youth with special requirements.
