Major Duties of a Water Safety Instructor for Fort Leavenworth FMWR include, yet are not limited to the following:

2. Satisfactory completion of physical is required.
3. Maintaining valid WSI certification is a condition of employment.
4. Scheduled hours can include daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
5. This position has specific initial background investigation and periodic re-verification requirements since its duties require contact with children.
