Training Division (TD), Learning Management and Employee Development, Distance Learning Program (DLP) / Glynco, GA
The incumbent provides advice and assistance to training Division Program Managers and District management on Distance Learning Program training issues. The primary purpose of the position is to perform developmental assignments to prepare the incumbent to serve as an authoritative consultant for developing and implementing specific area(s) of instruction or training programs for the USMS specifically within the learning management system and the distance learning program. The incumbent provides coordination and oversight for a variety of activities associated with the design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation of Distance Learning training programs and activities; conducts analysis, creates documentation and support processes related to training design and delivery, including requirements analysis, curriculum development, course delivery, and program evaluation; ensures effective implementation of programs, accomplishment of objectives and goals, and participates in the development of methodology for program administration. The incumbent is responsible for course management including testing, entry, assignment, recording completion, conducting evaluations, scheduling, student registration, resource tracking, certifications, surveys, reporting, training and assessment related functions, notifications, training analysis, training planning, auditing, and servicing accounts. LMS is administered in accordance with established DOJ and USMS requirements.
