The incumbent is responsible for a wide range of Information Technology (IT) management activities in support of the Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC) and Project Management Program. This would include supporting the Program Manager in planning, managing, and executing the IT budget and the portfolio of IT projects. Specifically, the incumbent will develop, maintain, and track program budgets; serve as a Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for IT services, equipment and other purchases; apply OMB, government-wide, and agency guidance in completing tasks; and respond to data calls related to the IT budget and portfolio.
Possession of a Contracting Officer’s Representative Level II certification will be required to be obtained within 1 year of employment and maintained during your tenure of employment.
Upon appointment, you will be required to complete a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450. You will need to provide the information annually.
This is a Public Trust Position. Employment in this position requires a background investigation. Basic Education Requirement: An undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management OR a degree in any other field that includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields above. These hours must be for higher level courses that required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
GS-9: Master’s degree as described above OR 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-7.
GS-11: Ph.D. with an undergraduate or graduate degree as described above OR 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to a GS-9.
