Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) is looking for the best and brightest to join our Team! These positions are located at the Pacific Views Exchange and other various retail locations aboard Camp Pendleton. Candidates selected for this position will serve as a Sales Associate / Cashier for MCCS.
MCCS will be hosting a hiring fair for Sales Associates on 30 August 2017 at the Pacific Views Exchange from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Must apply in advance!

Assists and serves customers with location, selection and purchase of merchandise with an emphasis on customer courtesy. Responsible for merchandising, display, and appearance of assigned area(s). Ensures items are properly marked, accepts sales and operates cash register. Checks merchandise, ring sales on cash register, receive payments, make change, bags or wraps merchandise and competes related sales records. Verifies personal checks and credit cards. Assist in inventories, ensures proper accountability and security of assigned area(s). May accept merchandise sales for layaway and Deferred Payment Plan. May perform general housekeeping duties such as cleaning or dusting fixtures and merchandise.
EVALUATIONS:
Six months of related experience preferred. Ability to operate, or learn to operate, a cash register. Knowledge of basic math. Ability to lift and carry objects up to 45lbs independently and objects over 45lbs with assistance.
