This position is located at the Runion Dental Clinic in Fort Huachuca, AZ.
Fort Huachuca is located in Sierra Vista in Cochise County, in southeast Arizona, about 15 miles north of the border with Mexico. Sierra Vista enjoys an average year-round temperature of 74 degrees. A small community, with many amenities you would find in a larger city. Within a short driving distance are the mining towns of Bisbee and Tombstone, the "Town too Tough to Die". In addition to local and Tucson stores, shoppers also frequent Nogales, Naco, and Agua Prieta, Mexico, all within an hour-and-a-half drive from post.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Degree: Degree in dental surgery (D.D.S.) or dental medicine (D.M.D.) from a school approved by the Council on Dental Education, American Dental Association (ADA); or other dental school, provided the education and knowledge acquired was substantially equivalent to that of graduates from an ADA-approved school.
License: Applicants must be currently licensed to practice dentistry in a State, the District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico.Experience Required: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Specialized Experience: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least three (3) years of professional dentistry experience and/or training equivalent to at least that of a Board eligible performing all phases of prosthodontic dental care including skills such as, but not limited to, diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation, and maintenance of oral function and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and/or maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes.
Experience and/or training must be one of the following types: Post-licensure professional experience in the general practice of dentistry; Approved internship training; Approved residency training; Graduate-level study in an accredited dental school; Post-licensure professional experience in a specialized area of practice; Other advanced study or training (outside a dental school or hospital) creditable towards satisfaction of training program requirements for Board eligibility.
Medical Requirement: Applicants must be able to distinguish shades of color.
Residency: Applicants must have successfully completed an advanced specialty postgraduate residency program approved by the American Dental Association (ADA), or accepted equivalent program, in Prosthodontics.
