About the Position:
Serves as a member of the End-Systems Engineering Branch, Customer Requirements Division, Engineering Directorate , responsible for performing End-User Devices Engineering and Design of ACE-IT related solutions in all functional areas. Reviews customer requirements and Performance Work Statement/Scope of Work (PWS/SOW) responses to ensure proper engineering solutions and technical acceptance. Functions as an ACE-IT resource for design of IT solutions. Provides technical review in support of other USACE and ACE-IT entities. Coordinates deployment of IT solutions across the USACE District, Divisions, and Field and Project Offices in concert with other USACE/ACE-IT entities.

Duties: In this position you will serve as a member of the Engineering and Design (E&D) Branch, Engineering and Cyber Security Directorate, responsible for performing Engineering and Design of ACE-IT related solutions in all functional areas. You will serve as IT Specialist for assigned IT systems engineering including state of the art and emerging technologies and products. You will be responsible for recommending appropriate technical strategies and solutions in resolving complex and persistent IT engineering challenges. Experience required:
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as:1) analyzing customer IT system software and hardware requirements to include system modifications and new system designs. AND 2) designing systems that follow industry standards and meet customer business needs. AND 3) advising customers on IT product capabilities or limitations and providing cost estimates for modifications, design or equipment replacement. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
