About the Position: This position is located at the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) at Fort Meade, MD.
About the Location: Fort Meade is located almost midway between the cities of Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC and is home to approximately 10,000 military personnel along with about 25,000 civilian employees. Approximately 6,000 family members reside on post. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as: providing customer support to information technology system users and/or administrators in all matters concerning desktop administration, user trouble tickets, service operations, and installation and/or configuration of computer hardware and software systems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
