This position is located at Navy Gateway Inns & Suites at NAS Lemoore California. The purpose of the position is to coordinate quality assurance inspections and reviews to support NLP operating standards and to plan, arrange, schedule, coordinate and deliver training while assisting management in providing adequate and timely training to lodging personnel. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English both verbally and in writing
Must meet Federal Employment suitability requirements and successful completion of background investigation. Background Investigations are conducted using fingerprint identification and completion of background inquiry forms.
Must have two years training experience with a minimum one year experience in a lodging operation.
Must possess excellent communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English via written and verbal communications.
Must be able to use basic computer software.
Must understand the daily operations of a hotel.
Must have the ability to work independently and with all levels of personnel.
Knowledge of quality assurance principles, practices, and procedures; techniques and leadership skills in supervising others; and the ability to conduct and coordinate various types of training programs.
Must be available and accessible at various hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds.

The Certified Hospitality Department Trainer (CHDT) designation (or equivalent) or a diploma in hotel/hospitality management with an emphasis in training or quality assurance from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred
