This position is in the Senior Executive Service (SES), a small elite group of top government leaders. The selectee for this position will serve as Director, Integrated Nuclear Weapons Safety and Security in the Integrated Nuclear Weapons Safety and Security Division of STRATEGIC SYSTEMS PROGRAMS.
As a Senior Executive reporting to the Director, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), you will serve as the Director, Integrated Nuclear Weapons Safety and Security and serve as the senior advisor on nuclear weapons safety and security, particularly in the areas of planning and business management, to the Director, Strategic Systems Programs.

The successful selectee will perform the following duties:

Selectee will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Public Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-278e within 30 days of appointment.
All newly appointed career SES leaders must sign the Reassignment Rights and Obligations Agreement as a condition of appointment into the SES in accordance with DoD Directive 1403.03.
Must be able to obtain an interim and/or final Top Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty AND must be able to maintain the required level of clearance while employed in the subject position. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the applicant fails to report to the scheduled drug test appointment. Incumbents of drug testing designated positions will be subject to random testing. Drug test results will be provided to the employing activity/command.
Selected candidate will be subject to a one-year probationary period in the Senior Executive Service unless required probationary period has been served. Selectee may also be subject to a records review prior to being appointed to this position.
This position is not covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
